UNDERSTANDING THE HSE ACT (AND AMENDMENTS): 4 Hours
- For Supervisors, OHS Co-ordinators
and Line Managers.
Backgrounds the legal requirements, including the Amendment Act 2002. Uses carefully chosen questions/answers and research materials including court case histories to develop working knowledge of the requirements, obligations and liabilities. Satisfies ACC Audit requirements.
HAZARD IDENTIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT: 3 Hours
- For Supervisors, OHS Co-ordinators
and Line Managers.
Backgrounds the legal requirements Everyday practical exercises in hazard identification, using familiar domestic and industrial situations. Four common methods of hazard assessment are used. Using an understanding of risk factors, the most appropriate control measures are examined. Tailored to client's own system. Satisfies ACC Audit requirements. [ ENROL ]
EFFECTIVE ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION: 3 Hours

UNDERSTANDING THE ACC AUDIT: 4 HOURS
- For Managers, OHS Co-ordinators
and employees tasked with conducting Annual Self Assessments,
as required by ACC.
Interprets and untangles the ACC Audit Tool. Gives good and bad examples of compliance. Attendees are able to examine their own OHS System and judge it in real time, with an actual auditor. [ ENROL ]
MACHINE GUARDING AND ISOLATION: 3 Hours

Backgrounds the legal requirements. Selected machinery guarding problems solved in-group situation using provided resource materials, leading to clear understanding of rules and guidelines. [ ENROL ]
